Injection molding automation

Another core competence of XENON is the handling of stamping strips, single contacts, metal inserts (e. g. bushings and inserts) and pre-molded parts during injection molding. Here, we have manifold experiences regarding the process technologies bending, separating, feeding and sorting as well as regarding high voltage testing, the integration of complex image processing systems, the marking of the parts and the packing in trays, carrier tapes or tubes.

Today, more than 60 percent of all metal stamping parts in the manufacture are directly or indirectly combined with plastics. This method is particularly in demand when it comes to the manufacture of components with electronic circuits and printed circuit boards, the production of multi-pole plug-in connectors, or the fabrication of plastic carriers with integrated connector strips.
